More than 100 craft villages of Vietnam and other members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are displaying their products at a fair at Tao Dan Cultural Park in Ho Chi Minh City.
On show are brocade, pottery, silk, sculpture and other handicraft articles.
The fair that last from Dec. 2-6, 2005 will provide opportunities for representatives from craft villages and associations of regional countries to share experiences, transfer technology, introduce their potential, and seek partners.
Many conferences on the situation of handicraft production and solutions for craft villages to bring their products to customers will also be held on this occasion.
The fair was organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Co-operatives, the Sai Gon Giai Phong daily, and the Vietnam Trade Fair and Advertising Company.
